Digigraphie® in Nice: fine art prints and editions
Digigraphie® is an Epson fine art reproduction process. It combines an approved printing workflow with identification of each print: signature, edition number, embossed stamp and certificate.
Production standards and traceability
A beautiful inkjet print is not automatically a Digigraphie. The programme combines a professional Epson printer, pigment inks and approved papers. Each print carries identification linking it to its edition. This provides a useful framework for artists who want to organise and track the distribution of their images.
Your project at the studio
TH.BALDINI is an Epson Digigraphie-accredited laboratory in Nice. Thierry Baldini helps you choose the size, paper and finish. We examine the file, colours, details and intended use. A test print can help approve texture and density before producing an edition. The selected paper must be approved for the Digigraphie protocol.
Edition number, signature and certificate
Under the Digigraphie protocol, each print is signed and numbered by the artist, embossed and accompanied by a certificate. When printing is entrusted to a laboratory, the stamp identifies that provider. Edition size, format and medium must be defined carefully: a different format or paper constitutes another series.
What to prepare
Bring your best-quality file, intended size and edition plan. Tell us whether you want to exhibit, sell a series or reproduce an original work. Together, we define the production and its documentation. The label describes a process and traceability; it does not assess the artwork’s artistic or commercial value.
Your questions
Are all Fine Art prints Digigraphies?
No. A Fine Art print may use beautiful paper and pigment inks without meeting every requirement of the Digigraphie protocol.
Can I start with a test print?
Yes, a proof can be arranged before launching your edition. Its size and cost are agreed with the studio.
