Consumer mediation

TH.BALDINI has appointed CM2C — Centre de la Médiation de la Consommation de Conciliateurs de Justice — as its consumer mediator. If a dispute about a purchase or service remains unresolved, you may seek an amicable solution.

First step

Send us a written complaint

Before contacting the mediator, send a written complaint to the workshop by email or post. Include your contact details, order or invoice reference, the issue and the outcome you would like.

Keep a copy of your complaint and the correspondence, as these will be useful if you subsequently contact CM2C.

If our response does not resolve your complaint, or you have received no response, you may refer the matter to CM2C free of charge, subject to its admissibility requirements.

What you need to know

  • Consumer mediation covers disputes between a consumer and a business. Business-to-business disputes are excluded.
  • You must contact the mediator within one year of your written complaint to the workshop. CM2C checks admissibility, including whether the same dispute has already been, or is being, examined by another mediator or a court.
  • Have proof of your complaint and the business’s SIRET or SIREN number from your invoice ready. Follow CM2C’s instructions for supporting documents.
  • The mediation procedure is free for consumers. Costs of any adviser or expert you choose to engage may remain payable by you.
  • Mediation is voluntary. You are free to accept or reject the proposed solution. If no settlement is reached, you may bring the matter before the competent court. CM2C conducts mediation in French.
